LOdGe cassette tapes (new updates!)
There is a group of cassette tapes connected to The Lodge and by extension to The Idea Factory. The Idea Factory simply knows that they exist We have a bit more information about the tapes to share here with you. There were 3 primary tapes that were sent to The Idea Factory from different locations in the United States. Each primary tape has a a title on the spine and a number on back. The numbers/titles are 1) Long Beach 2) Circles 3) The Door. Tapes 1-3 act as a trilogy with each one having one song on each side of the tape and differing versions on black, white, clear tapes, cases, and text. You can see images of the tapes below. There is one other tape that was sent that has an entire album split into two sides. This tape is orange with a black case and titled The Soul. There is no number on it so it is referred to as number 0.
There was also a plastic stand with a number 4 sent to The Idea Factory with a note that the 4th tape is in Madison. The 4th tape was discovered by several young Idea Factory Members on April 28th, 02024. This tape was inside a locked black suitcase on top of a piano at that Idea Factory Factory (Garver Canvas Gallery, Garver Feed Mill). The young Idea Factory Members discovered a small key with a number 4 on it by the Idea Factory secret gallery and used that key to open the suitcase. Founder Trent Miller had previously picked up the locked suitcase at Rich’s Boardsports just down the street from Garver Feed Mill. Tape 4 has a spoken word piece on once side and a song on the other of the metallic silver tape. This tape has a brown cardbord case and the words The Heart on it. Click on tapes to see larger photos.
